Lyme disease
occurs in all 50 states and around the world. It was first
described in German medical records in the 1880's. More
recently it was "discovered" in the 1970's here in the
US in Lyme, Connecticut. The bacteria's name is Borrelia
Burgdorferi [Bb] and it is a spirochete (corkscrew shape).
The disease is a bacterial infection and is usually passed on
to humans through a tick bite. The tick generally has to
be attached to its host for at least 8 hours, long enough for
the tick to stop feeding and allow an exchange of fluids.
The ticks carry other diseases such as babesiosis, erlichiosis,
and rickettsial fevers. A "bull's-eye" rash occurs
in less than half of all infections. Testing for Lyme is
frequently inconclusive. The ELISA, or titre, is the least
accurate, with about 40% accuracy. The western blot test
is a little better with about 70% accuracy. IgeneX's Immuno
dot assay Test, a urine test, is the most accurate. There
are other tests, such as the IFA (which is inaccurate), and a
PCR that looks at spinal fluid. A new surface protein test,
the C6LPE, is reported to be free from autoimmune disease based
false positives. The new Reverse Western Blot is also reported
to be highly accurate.
| If
treatment is started, the patient usually feels worse 24 to
48 hours later. This is called a her, short for Jarrisc-Herxheimer
Reaction. It is caused by the patients immune response
to the dead bacterias pathogenic body fluids in the
bloodstream. Patients report similar flare-ups once a month
thereafter. This is the bacterias normal replication
and die-off cycle and is not a Jarrisch-Herxheimer Reaction. |

If you
have Lyme and wish to experiment with the EMEM3, note that an
apparent herxheimer reaction may occur if an initial exposure
time is exceeded. The idea is to feel something but not to incapacitate
one's self!!! Feedback indicates most people start at 4 or 5 minutes
total. Some people also experience an apparent herxheimer reaction
after an antibiotic treatment is started. Most, based on their
reports, had tried unsuccessfully to be cured with antibiotics.
Although those treated within a week of the initial appearance
of symptoms are in remission or totally cured, others sick for
weeks, months or years have taken several rounds of oral or intravenous
antibiotics over the years. Many people report that these treatments
made only a marginal difference in how they felt while being treated.
However many report feeling sicker, relapsing if you will, in
weeks or months following the cessation of every regimen of antibiotics.
In the case of multiple regimens individuals report an overall
downhill progression of overall health over the years. This is
due to a peculiar characteristic of the lyme bacteria. When "threatened"
by antibiotics they form a glyco-protein cocoon around themselves.
This is referred to as a "cyst state." While protected
from antibiotics in these cysts they can replicate up to 5 times
per Bryan Rosner. Hence when they "come out" there can
be substantially more than before they went into "hiding."
Thus people can apparently get sicker indirectly from antibiotic
useage. Conversely, people using EMEM3 technology do not generate
cyst stages and do not suffer from serious relapses caused by
introduction of "hidden" bacteria.
People also combine a second healing modality with the EMEM3 such
as European Mistletoe, reiki, other electronic machines, infused
water, and so on. The European Mistletoe herb has been studied
in clinical labs and found to: stimulate the immune system; reverse
AIDS; control seizures; and help treat lump cancers. Check with
your health care professional before you set up a regimen as it
is orally introduced and has the potential to drive bacteria into
a cyct stage in high doses. Lastly, we can make no claims about
the suitability of the EMEM3 for any disease. We can only offer
anecdotes and testimonials.
