In 1610, Galileo perfected a telescope that magnified 30 diameters. It showed Venus’ phases demonstrating the revolution of the planets around the sun. Galileo also discovered four Jovian moons. Poor Galileo had to suffer a great reduction of his liberties and great privations for his discoveries. He was deprived of the company of his own daughter and confined to the city of Siena. Dressed in sackcloth he was compelled to swear on his knees with his hand on the Testaments before priests that the world did not move, and that he would never teach that it did.

Draw your own conclusions but Rife appears to be a latter day Galileo. He invented a microscope that can see living viruses but it’s not in use today. He invented a medium for growing cancer cells a boon back in the early 20th century. He proved his “machine” killed cancer cells but no one has any interest in Rife except to vilify him. He graces the pages of Quackwatch with no studies to disprove his methods. Yet doctors continue to do research in the same energy arena unimpeded. I can almost see him at his trial, trying to defend his good name in vain much as Galileo had to do 300 years before him.
