| An EMEM7 is an EMEM3 or EMEM5 that has a new type of wiring which increases
the strength of the efield. All our one tube machines are wired this way
and could be called EMEM7 if we so desired. We have maintained the original
nomenclature to more easily differentiate between analog and digital units.
Rest assured you are getting the higher ouput wiring.
Our two tube machines behave differently than one tube units and there is no noticeable benefit to EMEM7 wiring. We have done testing and the output remains about the same. There is a slight difference in efield distribution but no change in efield strength. The upper efield is stronger with the original wiring and we feel tissue penetration is better there. Thus, we have left the wiring alone. The EMX employs the EMEM7 wiring design. The power supply is manufactured
in such a way that it only works when wired in the EMEM7 configuration. |
